Philippines' inflation up to 11.4 percent |
| MANILA, Philippines -- The National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) said that continuous price increases of cereals and fuel caused the June 2008 headline inflation rate to increase further to 11.4 percent from 9.5 percent the previous month, as reported by the National Statistics Office (NSO). Core inflation rate also went up 6.6 percent for the month from 6.2 percent the previous month. |
